Puma signed an official partnership with the Premier League to become Official Ball Supplier, and to launch it, The Berry and DUDE London took over Trafalgar Square, transforming its iconic lions into an animated VFX spectacle built around the new PUMA football and the Premier League's lion emblem.
As Senior Motion Designer at the studio, I was fully responsible for the lighting, shading and integration of the CG lion and plinth into the live-action plate, seamlessly blending it into the real Trafalgar Square setting.
Everything was rendered in Cinema 4D using Redshift and comped in After Effects, with Substance Painter used for shading.
